History

Journey of Golf Construction India

27 Hole ITC Classic Golf Course (Gurgaon) under organization of Landbase India Ltd. was came into existence in 1994. At the time of construction landbase inducted in-house course technical construction staff of different sources. This was the first north Indian project where all technical staff of golf construction were expatriates of US and Thailand (Shapers and construction Superintendent) in-house construction team members had closely worked with the foreign expatriates, learn the micro basics of golf course construction. When the golf construction of 27 Hole ITC Golf Course completed the associated staff who worked with the expatriates becomes proficient to complete any world-class standard golf course.

In Year 2000 Jaypee Group (Jaypee Greens Ltd. Greater Noida) has to develop an 18 -golf course designed byGreg Norman. Jaypee had recruited ITC Classic golf technical team who had worked with foreign expatriates andcompleted the construction of 18 Hole Golf Course as per the expectation of Greg Norman. Here in Jaypee somenew members were joined golf construction team. Without taking any support from foreign expatriates, this teamcompleted 18 Hole Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman in Year 2003. In Jaypee independently, this teamgained colossal experience in golf course construction work.

In 2005 Silverglades, launched 9- Hole Golf Course at Gurgaon. This course designed by Graham Cooke &Associates. Silverglades inducted same golf construction team and completed (without expatriates) the 9- Holecourse, under the organization of Silverglades in 2007. In Silverglades some new members joined the team andsome old members left from the organization.

In 2007 Jaypee Group had launched an 9+18 Hole Golf Course Project in Jaypee Wish Town Noida. This courseis designed by Graham Cooke & Associates of Canada. Once again same golf construction team joined andsuccessfully completed construction of 9+18 golf course under the organization of Jaypee Group- (Jaypee WishTown Noida) in the year 2010 without taking help of foreign expatriates.

After completion of above courses the team members has developed confidence to complete any golf courseof international standard. All the construction team members joined the hand and create a new platform ie.Golf Construction India

Golf Construction India Team is group of well trained and experienced personnel who are worked indifferent organizations i.e. ITC Classic, Jaypee Greens and Silverglades by completed world class standard golfcourses.
